Our Story
We started with a simple belief.
In 2018, we started Poolside Society with a simple belief: summer should be slower than it usually is, and the things you reach for should match the season.
We had spent enough afternoons by the water to know that beauty without comfort is just decoration, and comfort without beauty is just plastic. The best summer goods live somewhere in between, where form follows purpose and every detail earns its place in your weekend.
We wanted to make things hosts and houseguests would reach for season after season.
Since then, we have stayed true to that original intention. Every piece we make starts with the same question: does this make the long afternoon easier and more beautiful at the same time? If it does not clear that bar, it does not carry our name.
First Edition
The Capri was our first answer.
A hammock-style float built around a mesh cradle suspended between two heavy-gauge tubes. The kind that keeps you half submerged so the sun can do its thing without baking you. We made it because most pool floats are loud, kid-coded, and built for one season. The Capri is the version that lasts.

Adult by Design
Most summer goods are loud, novelty-driven, and aimed at children. Ours are quieter. We design for people who set the table, host the weekend, and want their floatation device to look like furniture, not a toy.

Built for the Long Afternoon
Inflatables that last one season are not products, they are landfill on a delay. We use heavier vinyl, double-stitched seams, and warranties that mean something. If a seam fails, we replace it.

Made to Travel
The best afternoons rarely happen at home. Our pieces fold flat, roll down, and ride along. They earn their space in the suitcase, the lake house, the rental, the weekend that wasn't on the calendar.
